PHMG
PHMG is a global audio branding agency, helping businesses enhance customer experiences through on-hold marketing, voice technology, audio branding and telephony solutions.
The brief
PHMG was launching new products and evolving its wider proposition, creating a need for engaging video content aimed at both customers and employees.
I developed scripts and creative concepts for a range of projects, including a B2B product video promoting Complete Caller Experience, a telephony optimisation solution, and an internal launch campaign designed to support a significant shift in company focus and strategy.
The challenge was to communicate complex products and business objectives in a way that felt clear, engaging and inspiring for very different audiences.
The process
Whether you're speaking to customers or employees, the same rule applies: people don't buy into features, they buy into outcomes.
For the product launch videos, I worked closely with stakeholders to understand the challenges businesses face when managing customer calls and how PHMG's solutions helped solve them. The scripts focused on translating technical functionality into tangible business benefits, helping viewers understand the value of the products without overwhelming them with jargon.
Alongside external-facing content, I also developed scripts for internal communications supporting a company-wide product launch and strategic repositioning. These projects required a different approach. Rather than selling a product, the objective was to inspire confidence, generate excitement and help employees understand the role they would play in the company's future direction.
Working alongside motion designers and creative teams, I developed narrative-led scripts that aligned closely with visual storytelling, ensuring the messaging and imagery worked together to create a cohesive and engaging experience.
The outcome
Bringing strategy to life through video
The finished scripts helped PHMG communicate new products and business initiatives in a way that felt accessible, engaging and memorable.
From customer-facing product videos explaining complex telephony solutions to internal launch content designed to inspire and motivate employees, the projects demonstrated how effective storytelling can simplify technical concepts, support organisational change and bring strategic messages to life.
